The exhibition at FAD (Fostering Arts & Design) puts together the work of the designer Javier Mariscal and his colleague and Dutch cartoonist Joost Swarte. Both jump from one discipline to another participating in comic illustration, product or interior design, architecture and in Mariscal’s case even sculpture.
The only element we find is a long broken wall that crosses the room from side to side. Placed just at the center it sorts out the space and displays all the exhibit material. Sketches, drawings and pictures are directly printed on the surface of the cardboard panels that cover the structure of the wall. At the points where the high of the wall goes down we placed the three showcases lightened by Ptolomeo lamps.
